Glenelg Football Club is pleased to advise that Crow’s listed Shaun McKernan has joined the Club.

McKernan comes to Glenelg after the Club was approached by South Adelaide earlier this week.   Following discussions with the Adelaide and South Adelaide Football Clubs, McKernan’s transfer to the Bays will take effect immediately.

Glenelg Football Manager Ken Applegarth said whilst this came out of blue it was an opportunity that required serious consideration. In the end it was very clear that Shaun will add depth to the Club’s big man department.

“Shaun will provide an injection of height and strength which will address the immediate needs of our Club whilst our talented group of younger talls continue to develop,” he said.

McKernan will train with Glenelg tonight and is named to play against the Magpies this Saturday.
