The club sends its best wishes to former player Matthew Scharenberg who is in the early stages of recovery from a knee reconstruction.
Drafted to Collingwood back in November 2013, Matt had a frustrating start to the year with a foot injury. In his 5th game back in Collingwood’s VFL side, Matt tore the ACL in his left knee in the game against Bendigo on August 22nd.
I’m sure all Glenelg supporters and members wish Matt a speedy recovery, and hope it won’t be too long before we see the start of what will be a great AFL career.
