Rob Mullarvey (Chairman of Footballers Club)
Rob Mullarvey has a back ground in the Gaming Industry that extends over 25 years.
He has been in management positions at a number of NSW Clubs and was heavily involved in the introduction of gaming into SA.
Rob runs his own company - Independent Gaming Analysis, which provides service and gaming analysis to over 150 clubs and hotels with some 3500 machines in South Australia.
Gary King (Chairman of Vice Presidents)
Gary King has a background in the retail furniture and bedding manufacturing industry. Being born in Queensland, Gary was transferred by his then current company Sealy of Australia Bedding Company, as State Manager to establish a marketing\manufacturing plant in South Australia which grew from himself to employing 40 staff.
Having been involved with Glenelg Football Club for 27 years Gary has taken a more active roll in the past 10 years.
Gary was elected Chairman of Vice Presidents in October 2009.
Justin Scripps (Football Director)
Michael Michaels holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) iwth postgraduate qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser.
Michael has over 25 years' experience in public practice and is the Managing Director of Sims Richmond Pty Ltd Chartered Accountants.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and has been practising as a commercial lawyer, specialising in
infrastructure, construction and development law, as well as dispute resolution and corporate law disputes for over 15 years.
John is a partner in the Adelaide office of Hunt & Hunt Lawyers, who are a full service national commercial law firm with offices across Australia.
John is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and is a passionate and lifelong supporter of the Glenelg Football Club.
Elected as deputy president and Finance Director
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science (Computing) and has over 25 years’ experience in Information Technology, across public and commercial enterprises, in industries ranging from public sector,
higher education, health and utilities. Tony has extensive experience as a senior leader in strategic and business planning, stakeholder and account management, project and program management, governance and risk, and infrastructure and application Management.
Tony is Director of Strategise IT, and specialises in providing technology strategy and advisory services.
Tony has passionately supported the club since his first match in 1973, and is currently a Corporate Sponsor and Vice President of the Football Club.
Rob is the recently retired managing director of Thirsty Camel bottle-shops. After operating his own retail businesses and spending some time in the gaming industry, Rob moved into the liquor
and hospitality industry where he spent some 30 years. His skills in strategic planning, business development and financial controls was fundamental in the establishment and success of the
Thirsty Camel franchise brand, which now has over 60 retail liquor outlets.
Rob has lived in Glenelg and been a member of the football club for 28 years. Even though his wife Maree and his four sons and grandsons are his highest priority in life, Rob really wants to contribute to the local community and to the future success of the Glenelg Football Club.
