The Glenelg Football Club will return to the grand stage of Adelaide Oval this Sunday afternoon, ready to ignite their 2025 Hostplus SANFL Finals Series campaign in a high-stakes Qualifying Final clash against the Crows.

Led by fearless leader Liam McBean, who will celebrate his 150th game for the Club, the Bays enter finals with momentum.

The Tigers made a big statement last weekend, smashing Central District by 86 points to wrap up the minor round. Head coach Darren Reeves called it “a really strong performance from the full group,” and that team-wide effort has given the selectors plenty to think about heading into finals.

This week’s line-up is headlined by emerging stars and seasoned champions alike. Latrelle Pickett retains his spot following a dazzling debut, which earned him AAMI Rookie of the Round honours after a four-goal masterclass. Meanwhile, Darcy Scott’s reliable impact continues to grow after a standout season that saw him claim Round 19’s Powerade Breakthrough Player title.

With a healthy list and fierce competition for spots, the Bays are fielding one of their strongest teams of the year – just in time for the biggest stage.

A cornerstone of Glenelg’s forward line and a leader on and off the field, McBean’s milestone adds even greater significance to what is already a massive occasion.
