It was a great start to the match with an early goal to Billy Stretch, but it was hard work from there forward.
We played a really good team in Norwood with very talented midfield, and it was always going to be a challenge to win that battle. Overall, it was probably a break even, but I was pleased with our work inside the stoppage and the contest.
Our ball handling needs some work, and the 1st touch and quick hands part of our game was off early, but it got better as the game progressed.
I thought Norwood were very well structured and challenged our style. We were trying to tactically challenge theirs and a great battle of concentration and awareness evolved into an arm wrestle.
Credit to them I thought they were great, and I was really pleased with our boys willingness to fight and scrap and claw their way back into the game.
Lots of work to do, but a good start to win a close one.
