It’s been 9 years since we won at the Parade, so Saturday night’s win was rewarding, but even more so because of the way we played.
We wanted to win some key areas of the game and we did that – culminating in our best weight of numbers performance.
We had multiple goal kickers, multiple tackles and multiple players with 10+ contested possessions.
I thought Jack Hannath did a great job in the ruck against Sam Baulderstone, who’s not just a very good player, but leads their score launches by three times the next player.
There were dips in our performance, but those periods were much shorter and our leaders were proactive in arresting momentum with hard disciplined acts to turn the tide.
Next week we take on South at home, and we’d love to see as many Tiger fans as possible.
