The Glenelg Football Club is saddened to hear the recent passing of Bob Tregenza.
Bob didn’t play a huge number of games for the Bays – totalling 54 games in 1972-74 and 1977 – but he was huge in what was our greatest game of all. Tregenza’s premiership teammates believe the hard-working ruckman simply was the difference between winning and losing. An injury to ruck partner Bob Tardif meant Tregenza had to carry the load against the odds in searing heat – and his epic performance still is talked about.
The Club extends our deepest condolences to the Tregenza family.
