Glenelg Football Club is proud to welcome back past player Rod Jameson as our Women’s Operations Manager for 2024.
Rod joins the Tigers with a wealth of experience, previously being a Board Member for the Adelaide Crows Football Club. Jameson played 153 games for the crows, including the 1997 premiership. He is also a Life Member of AFC and has worked as a commentator for ABC Radio National AFL Broadcasts and SANFL Finals.
Closer to Glenelg, Jameson played 71 games for the Bays kicking 53 goals over his playing career.
Club CEO Justin Scripps explains “Rod has been intimately involved in the South Australian football industry at various levels for most of his life. He has a great passion for the footy club, building strong relationships as well as a great football IQ. Rod will provide valuable support to Lexi Edwards (GFCW Senior Coach) and great oversight of our program.”
We are excited to have Rod join the team and can’t wait to see where his experience takes our GFCW program.
