SANFLW Round 1 Team Selections 2024

Our teams are in and we are set for an exciting open to the Hostplus SANFLW 2024 season.

After an intense pre-season, the Tiger Women are eager to get started on their 2024 campaign.

Coach Lexia Edwards has selected a strong starting line-up for the clash against North Adelaide, with an array of new and old faces donning the black and gold. Sam Franson will take the field as standalone Captain for the first time, alongside the returning Jess Bates, Ellie Kellock, Ellen Tyminski, Jess Searle and Grace Duffy (2021 Premiership team) who bring a wealth of experience to the team.

Youngsters Violet Patterson, Poppy Scholz and Eloise Mackereth will line up, providing a spark of enthusiasm to the group on Saturday evening.

The Bays also welcome a selection of debutants to Thebarton Oval for the Round 1 clash: Ash Dyer (Port Lincoln League), and Chloe Harding (Morphettville Park). Alex Pearce (Sturt) and Jorja Eldridge (North) will also wear the Bays’ jumper for the first time.
