In a team that has already been unlucky with injury for the second half of the season, the women see 4 significant outs for their trip to Noarlunga to take on the Panthers at South Adelaide on Saturday.
Eloise Mackereth will miss the clash, along with Violet Patterson who is out with AFLW commitments. Jess Bates and Shay’lee Dayman will miss with injury – Bates a foot niggle and Dayman with an ankle.
Although there are some cons to the outs this week, it provides a positive return of Kayla Robran, Mel Hinge, Jorja Eldridge and Lucy Armitage who have all played at League level, showcasing the depth of the squad at a valuable point of the season.
There are many ways you can support the GFCW squads this season, the most crucial being a GFCW Member or Sponsor for season 2024. Your membership will help support our premiership winning women’s program and provide vital funds towards our development program.
