Prepare yourself for the biggest Game Day at the Bay in a decade! 

That’s right, we’re on the hunt for 10,000 people to join us on the King’s Birthday public holiday, when we’ll host the ultimate Round 9 clash against Sturt.

As part of the SANFL Super Match, we’ll have tons of activities and entertainment for the whole family, PLUS the chance to win $10,000 in the Adrian Brien Kia Kick for Cash.

We’ll have a Family Zone, Party Zone and even a Dunk Me 4 MND Zone with a celebrity line-up set to be dunked, including Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello, the Marmalade boys, and Glenelg past players Paul Sherwood, Ty Allen and Trevor Cranston!

ADRIAN BRIEN KIA KICK FOR 10K

Win $10,000 thanks to major sponsor Adrian Brien Kia!

Three lucky contestants will have the opportunity to kick a football into the Adrian Brien Kia Wheelie Bin to win $10,000. The competition will take place at three quarter time of the League game.

HOW TO ENTER:

  • Pre-purchase tickets online or at club reception by 5:00pm Sunday June 11 for an automatic entry.

DUNK ME 4 MND

We’re thrilled to be teaming up with MND South Australia this game day. The dunk machine will be set up on the northern end of Stratarama Stadium by Margaret Messenger Reserve.

The celebrity line-up joining us:

  • Glenelg past players Ty Allen, Paul Sherwood and Trevor Cranston at quarter time of the League game
  • Andrew Costello and the Marmalade Boys at half time of the League game

FAMILY ZONE

Bring your crew to the Family Zone at Margaret Messenger Reserve on the north-eastern end of Stratarama Stadium. There will be plenty of fun activities and entertainment, including:

  • Giant lawn games
  • Roving entertainers and face painters
  • McDonald’s giveaways
  • Footy inflatables

PARTY ZONE

The Party Zone will be found at Scoreboard Hill on the south-eastern end of Stratarama Stadium. A standout here is the AAMI Chill Out Zone, with deck chairs and blankets set up for you to take a breather and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

  • Snouts Bar & Canteen
  • Canadian Club van

WESTERN ZONE

By the Glenelg Cricket Club scoreboard you will find Attaboy Barber, who will be giving out FREE haircuts across the day. And while you’re down there, visit Threefold Gin Distilling for some gin tasting!

Along the western side of Stratarama Stadium, our classic game day food outlets will be set up, including:

  • Zambreros
  • Vili’s
  • Dinkum Dogs
  • Grinders Coffee Van
  • The Glenelg Club
  • PP&O Drinks Van on Umbrella Hill
  • Keep an eye out for the West End mobile backpacks walking around!

When do the games commence?

Reserves @ 10:30am

League @ 2:10pm

When do the gates open?

Cornes Gates will open @ 10:00am.

All other gates open @ 11:00am

Gates open include Rugless Terrace, Margaret Messenger Reserve, and Wilson Terrace.

Is there a car park?

**PLEASE NOTE**

Due to the high capacity of patrons for this game day and increased food and beverage outlets, the Glenelg Football Club car park is EXTREMELY limited. It is recommended that, if driving, you utilise surrounding street parking or public transport to travel to and from the oval.

When are presentations?

The men’s post-match presentations will be held in the bistro at approximately 6:00pm.

Where can I buy match day tickets? 

Skip the queue and save! Match day tickets are now available online here or at Club reception. Both an email and eTicket via SMS will be sent to you.

Tickets can also be purchased at the gates, and entry is free for all under 18s.

Please note, there has been a minor increase to ticket prices across the SANFL clubs:

Will merchandise and memberships be available?

Absolutely! We will have a merchandise tent set up on the western side of the oval.

Will Football Budgets be available?

Yes! You can purchase a footy budget for $5 by the Cornes Gates.

The Budget this season is expanding to 24 pages to include a player posters, more SANFLW content, more SANFL History content.

A digital edition will also be available every round. This will cost $3 for a single digital issue, or $39.99 for an annual digital subscription via a publications platform called Issuu. Purchase via https://issuu.com/sanflsa

Who has access to the grandstand? 

The grandstand is a GFC Members only access area. Entry is on a first-in first-served basis. You will be provided a grandstand pass upon entry into the grandstand. Please be mindful of reserved seats.

Is Kick and Catch on this season? 

Great news! If you’re bringing the kids, you can also look forward to a return to the ‘Kick and Catch’ within the 50m arcs at each end of the oval during the quarter and half-time breaks and after the game.
