2021 Reserves & Torrens University U18 & U16 Fixtures

Saturdays are set to be a key focus of the U18 Torrens University Cup after the competiton’s 2021 fixture was unveiled by SANFL.

Revealed alongside the U16 Torrens University Cup and Statewide Super Reserves fixtures, the U18 schedule includes 38 of the 44 games to Round 11 being programmed on a Saturday.

Four of the six games not scheduled for Saturday will be in Round 1, when West Adelaide and Glenelg kick things off under lights at Hisense Stadium on Easter Thursday (April 1).

The remaining six clubs will start their season on Good Friday (April 2) in a variety of timeslots, including South Adelaide and Norwood clashing immediately after the Statewide Super League game between the Panthers and Crows at Flinders University Stadium.

SA’s most talented U18s will again be given the opportunity to play their Grand Final at Adelaide Oval, on Sunday September 12, one week before the Reserves play their title-decider as a curtain-raiser to the League Grand Final on Sunday September 19.

The U16 Torrens University Cup – consisting of seven minor rounds – will begin on Thursday March 4, when Central District hosts Woodville-West Torrens under lights at X Convenience Oval.

Round 5 will feature two matches being played on the evening of Easter Thursday before a further two will take place on Good Friday.

The final minor round = Round 7 – will be played on Wednesday April 14 during school holidays before the Grand Final is played on the weekend of Saturday April 24.
