2023 AGM – Congratulations to all award recipients

Glenelg Football Club would like to congratulate the 2023 Award Winners, who were presented with their official plaques of recognition at the 2023 AGM on Monday 19th February.

Kristin Jeffrey celebrated a decade at the Bay with an incredible 10-year Service Award following her time at the club, undertaking a multitude of roles – most currently as Commercial Operations Manager.

Austin Baker was commemorated for his 5-year Service Award as a committed Training Support Staff & Volunteer.

Chairman of the Past Players & Officials committee Keith Kuhlmann received the A.J. Wadham Volunteer of the Year Award following his incredible, long-standing devotion to the club. Keith & the PP&O raised a staggering $79,399 for the club in 2023, presenting this to CEO Justin Scripps at the 2023 Best & Fairest. On game days, you can find Keith in the Past Player’s Drinks Van, which in itself raised $49,691 for the year. The PP&O drinks can recycling initiative also raised $4700 for our Junior Tiger Academy program, which is vital in continuing our junior programs. Keith’s contributions to the club do not go unnoticed, with his presentation of our Player’s Stripes Awards at the conclusion of each season fast becoming one of the most sought-after awards, displaying the key pillars of our purpose as a club.

Darcy Bailey was awarded playing life membership, whilst Geoff Burns was awarded his 10-year Service Award for his unwavering commitment traveling from Naracoorte to volunteer for the club.

Without the passion, support and efforts of our valued volunteers, Glenelg Football Club could not exist. So, we extend a huge thank you to these fine members of the Tiger Family and to everyone who contributed towards GFC’s fantastic season in 2023.
