SANFL has released the updated fixture for Rounds 12-18 of the 2024 Hostplus SANFL League season.

With only the first 11 rounds released at the start of the year due to the rolling AFL fixture, the schedule through to Round 18 is now locked away.

The five Round 19 games to conclude the minor round will be played on the weekend of Saturday August 24 but will be finalised once the AFL confirms its final minor round fixture.

The 2024 Hostplus SANFL Women’s League Grand Final also is locked in for 4.05pm on Saturday July 6 at The Parade, with Channel 7 confirmed to broadcast the title-decider live and free from 4pm.

In a first for SANFL, a super Sunday of Hostplus SANFL League footy will follow the SANFLW grand final day, with all five men’s League matches in Round 13 scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday July 7.

Round 14 sees South Adelaide’s home game against North Adelaide at Victor Harbor Oval – the third match to be played in a regional area this season – confirmed for 2.30pm on Saturday July 13. This will be a feature match of the 2024 Think! Road Safety SA Country Football Championships being held that weekend.

SANFL Friday night footy also returns in Round 18 when current top-of-the-table Norwood plays its final home match of the year against North Adelaide.

The second year of the Neil Kerley Memorial Match, played between West Adelaide and Adelaide, will be held at Adelaide Oval as a fitting curtain raiser to the Crows versus Western Bulldogs AFL match on Sunday August 11, with a 12.10pm start.

“This will provide both West Adelaide and Adelaide with a tremendous opportunity to honour Kerley in front of tens of thousands of fans at Adelaide Oval,” SANFL Head of Football Operations Sean Toohey said.

“The fixture points to a really exciting run home to the finals with some ladder-defining rounds set to feature in what’s already been a terrific season of Hostplus SANFL League footy.”

The 2024 series of SANFL Super Matches, presented by The Advertiser, also will continue to provide a super-charged festival atmosphere for footy fans of all ages at two matches: Sunday July 28 when Woodville-West Torrens hosts Adelaide at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval, and Saturday August 17 for the West Adelaide versus Sturt clash at Hisense Stadium.

All Hostplus SANFL League finals will be played at the Adelaide Oval, starting on the weekend of August 31 through to the Grand Final on Sunday September 22.
