2024 SANFL Juniors Fixture Release

The 2024 SANFL U14, U16 & U18 fixtures have been released ahead of the U14’s season start in February.

The U14’s kick off the season against the Eagles at Thebarton, with Round 5 of their season coinciding with Round 1 of the U16’s and U18’s. They all meet to take on West Adelaide at Hisense Stadium on March 24.

After starting their season late March, the U16’s and U18’s then go on to take on South Adelaide at Stratarama Stadium beginning Easter weekend with a bang on Thursday March 28.

A triple header arrives in on Saturday, April 13 with all three teams taking on Norwood at Norwood Oval for a huge day of football post AFL Gather Round. U14’s and U16’s will have a Bye during Gather Round, however the U18’s will take on South Adelaide on the Saturday at Thebarton.

Following last year’s successful introduction of bye rounds for the U18 AFL National Championships and Inter Col weekend, the introduction of midweek matches was another measure to ensure the state’s best footballers are showcased in all competitions. This has continued from last season, with Wednesday games for both the U16’s and U18’s during the season.

Both competitions have again been closely aligned to ease pressure on club staff and match-day volunteers.

The 2024 SANFL U16 and U18s finals series will commence the weekend of August 31 with their Grand Finals to be played at Adelaide Oval on September 15.
