2025 SA U18 squad finalised

A 34-player South Australian squad has been finalised ahead of the 2025 Marsh AFL U18 National Championships. 

Set to play four matches in the highly-anticipated national tournament, the Croweaters will kick off their campaign interstate against the Allies at Blacktown, Sydney on Sunday June 1.

To be coached by SANFL U18 Academy Manager Tony Bamford, SA’s line-up boasts seven underage players and one overage player, Glenelg utility Thomas McKay.

Exciting talents include Central District midfielders Dyson Sharp and Matt LeRay, North Adelaide ball magnet Sam Cumming and athletic Sturt wingman Harley Barker, who are all members of the AFL Academy.

Familiar SANFL names include Jim Kelly (Norwood/son of Richard), Mitchell Marsh (West/son of Ben), Jack Cook (Eagles/son of Tim) and Jevan Phillipou (Eagles/son of Sam).

Sturt’s Louis Kellaway, the son of former Richmond defender Duncan Kellaway, is a potential father-son prospect for the Tigers.

Training begins on Tuesday April 22, with SA’s following matches being against Victoria Metro (Sunday June 8) in SA, Western Australia (Sunday June 15) in SA and Victoria Country (Sunday June 29) in Melbourne.
