GFC teams up with South Australian Jockey Club in 2023

The 2023 SANFL season is shaping up to be a really competitive competition. Each year our competition keeps getting stronger attracting high class footballers from all over Australia and our junior system producing some great talent. For us, we’re striving to give ourselves every opportunity to challenge for premierships in our men’s and women’s League teams next year and to keep building strong momentum with our culture and junior development programs so that we have sustainable success.

As you’re aware, increasing our membership base is critical so that we can continue to invest in our footy programs, but just as important to me is that you feel like you receive value for money for your membership.

With this in mind, I’m excited to announce a partnership with the South Australian Jockey Club whereby our 2023 memberships will also include free general admission access to the horse races at Morphettville throughout 2023. Although this excludes their feature race days, this concept could save you anywhere from $25 to $300 depending on how often you wish to go to the races.

Also, for those supporters who have previously just paid at the gate, please note that the SANFL have now increased the adult gate ticket price from $17 to $20 next year. Therefore, buying a membership will ensure you get the best value for money. As an added bonus, we will also be holding a three day Black Friday sale, where you can get 10% discount off full-priced memberships. The sale will run from Friday November 25 @ 12:01am – Sunday November 27 @ 11:59pm.

I’d also encourage our members and supporters to purchase the new Ton Of Tigers centenary book that Club Historian Peter Cornwall has written with his team of authors. The book will be a lasting legacy for our footy club and a great Christmas present for family and friends.
