Deni, 32 years old, was drafted to the Adelaide Crows as pick No.26 in the 2016 AFL Women’s Draft and played every match in their first three years of the AFLW competition. She returns to the Bays, after hanging up her boots in the AFLW competition in December.
Talia Radan and the coaching group are proud to announce such a great return to the Club, “Deni is an incredibly experienced and smart footballer, and we are see excited to see her rejoin us at the Bays as she returns to football after finishing up her AFLW career. We will be a better team for having her leadership, work rate, smarts and skill.”
Prior to the birth of her eldest daughter Hali, Deni played a key role in the Adelaide Crows 2017 and 2019 premierships. Deni and her partner Jarrad recently welcomed their newest family addition, Tia, to the world in May of this year.
