The Club is thrilled to welcome Jordan Murdoch back to the Bay.
Jordan returns to Glenelg after being taken with pick 48 in the 2011 AFL Draft by Geelong. Jordan played 108 games for the Cats and booted 73 goals before being picked up by the Gold Coast Suns as a delisted free agent in 2018/19, where he featured in 14 games.
Before his AFL career took off, Jordan wore the black and gold in 2011. Initially playing in the U18s, Jordan quickly rose through the ranks and featured regularly in the Reserves side before making his League debut in round 21. He then went on to win a Reserves premiership in the 2011 grand final against Norwood.
Jordan brings versatility and a high football IQ to Glenelg. His experience will provide great support to the continued development of our playing squad.
Jordan and his wife Emma are looking forward to making the move back to SA.
“I can’t wait to get started and give back to the club that gave me such a great opportunity,” he said.
