Max Proud isn’t done yet…

2023 premiership captain, Max Proud, has informed Glenelg Football Club that he will continue in 2024. 

Initially announcing his retirement on Grand Final night, the ever-reliable defender has decided he isn’t done with SANFL footy just yet.

The decision comes in light of other exciting recruitment news, including the return of fellow 2019 premiership players Chris Curran and Will Gould.

With whispers from loyal members and teammates alike, Proud has confirmed he will go again. He is eager to play alongside new Captain Liam McBean, offering advice and guidance on the role where he can.
