Patrick Parnell joins the Bays for 2025.
Glenelg Football Club is thrilled to announce the signing of former Adelaide Crows player Patrick Parnell. Known for his speed, agility, and precise ball skills, Parnell joins Glenelg with a strong football background that saw him make his AFL debut in 2022 with the Crows after being selected in the 2021 mid-season draft.
A highly regarded talent, Parnell quickly made his mark with his clean ball use and ability to cover the ground effectively, making him a versatile asset in both offensive and defensive roles. His addition to Glenelg is anticipated to bring a new dimension to the club’s 2025 campaign, building on the Tigers’ recent successes.
Glenelg head coach Darren Reeves expressed his excitement about the signing, saying, “We’re absolutely thrilled to have Patrick join our club. He’s an outstanding young man that will fit in perfectly into our group. We feel like his leg speed and ball use will add greatly to our 2025 campaign, and we can’t wait to get to work with him.”
Parnell himself is eager to begin this new chapter, stating, “It’s exciting to join a club like Glenelg. I’m excited to meet with all my new teammates and get after winning the club’s third premiership.”
The club warmly welcomes Patrick to Glenelg and looks forward to seeing his impact on and off the field as preparations for the 2025 season get underway.
