What's Happening

It’s the first home game of the season and a SANFL Super Match! We look forward to hosting Port Adelaide in our Round 1 clash at Stratarama Stadium as we kick off our 2024 campaign.

Bring your crew to the NEW Family Zone in Margaret Messenger Reserve! The City of Holdfast Bay Council have upgraded the north-eastern end of the ground, with plenty of fun activities and entertainment, including:

Giant lawn games
Footy inflatables
AAMI relax deck chairs
Brand new playground
NEW Food & drink vendors

POST-GAME ENTERTAINMENT

Stick around after the game to enjoy music entertainment by our very own GFCW player Tamsyn Morriss, who will be DJing in the alfresco area from 7pm.

When do the games commence?

Reserves @ 11:20am (at Flinders University Stadium, vs South Adelaide)

Women’s Reserves @ 12:10pm

Women’s League @ 2:10pm

League @ 4:40pm

When do the gates open?

Cornes Gates will open from 11:30am

Rugless Gates will open from 1:00pm

Margaret Messenger Gates will open from 2:00pm

When are presentations?

Presentations will be held in the bistro at approximately 8:00pm.

I can’t make it to the game! How can I stream it?

This week the game can be streamed live on SANFL Now.

Where can I buy match day tickets?

Match day tickets are available online here or at the gate – entry is free for all under 18s.

Will merchandise be available?

Absolutely! We will then have a merchandise stand open by the Cornes Gates from 1:00pm onwards.

Will Football Budgets be available?

Yes! You can purchase a footy budget for $5 by the Cornes Gates.

A digital edition will also be available every round. This will cost $3 for a single digital issue, or $39.99 for an annual digital subscription via a publications platform called Issuu. Purchase via https://issuu.com/sanflsa

Is there food and drinks available?

We have plenty of outlets available across the grounds. These include:

Coffee Van
Vili’s Pie Cart
Dinkum Dogs
The Glenelg Club
PP&O Drink’s Van (Umbrella Hill)
Snouts Bar and Canteen
Pop-up bars

*please note all alcoholic beverages are in cans. Please place all empty cans in the yellow bins across the grounds*

Who has access to the grandstand?

The grandstand is a GFC Members only access area. Entry is on a first-in first-served basis. You will be provided a grandstand pass upon entry into the grandstand. Please be mindful of reserved seats.

Is Kick and Catch on this season?

Great news! If you’re bringing the kids, you can also look forward to a return to the ‘Kick and Catch’ within the 50m arcs at each end of the oval during the quarter and half-time breaks and after the game.
