ANZAC Day Blockbuster: Grand Final Rematch Set to Ignite Stratarama Stadium
It’s a grand final rematch like no other as Glenelg and Norwood face off this Friday in what is shaping up to be a blockbuster ANZAC Day clash at Stratarama Stadium.
Meeting for the first time since the Bays’ triumphant back-to-back premiership in September, the highly-anticipated showdown marks a major moment on the SANFL calendar. This year’s ANZAC Day event will host a Glenelg triple-header, with our women’s team fighting for their first win of the season at the conclusion of the major event.
The Bays are set to welcome back key player Darcy Bailey, who returns to the lineup after recovering from a minor injury. The team will be without captain Liam McBean, who sustained an injury during last week’s clash and will miss this round.
Off the field, Glenelg Football Club proudly announces Adelaide Green Homes as a new Major Partner. The Club looks forward to introducing them to the unmatched game day atmosphere at the Bay—an experience deeply loved by the Tiger faithful.
With high stakes, a passionate crowd, and the spirit of ANZAC Day in the air, Friday’s clash is set to be one of the season’s marquee moments.
Tickets to the match can be purchased here at a discounted rate, or at the gates upon entry!
We recommend that the public arrive prior to 2pm to ensure the ANZAC Day ceremony can be respected by all.
If you can’t make it to any of the game this Friday, be sure to stream all the Bays action from 11:20am on SANFL Now.
