Big Names Return for Top-of-the-Table Clash This Sunday

Glenelg hit the road this Sunday, taking on Sturt at Thomas Farms Oval, in a top-of-the-table clash that promises high stakes and high energy. The footy action kicks off at 11:30am with our Reserves, followed by League at 2:10pm.

This weeks match marks the first meeting between the two sides since last year’s semi final.

The Bays welcome back Patrick Parnell for his first match since Round 2, after recovering from injury. He replaces premiership midfielder Luke Partington, who will miss this week with a hamstring injury sustained during Glenelg’s dominant performance over Norwood last week.

The Bays look to replicate last week’s performance, with Lachie Hosie putting on a show up forward, booting eight goals. Midfielder Corey Lyons also impressed, racking up 24 disposals, three goals, and five clearances in a strong fiery display. Against a strong Sturt side, we know Bays fans are excited for the match ups this Sunday.

With both clubs sitting at the top of the ladder, fans can expect a fierce atmosphere as Glenelg looks to continue its strong early-season form.
