Get ready, Bays fans — Glenelg Football Club is set for a blockbuster Saturday at Magain Stadium!

The Bays head south to face off against South Adelaide in a high-stakes Round 8 clash, with plenty of celebrations jam-packed into our triple-header Saturday. First Nations Round returns this week, offering a powerful and vibrant celebration of the rich cultures and communities that shape our great game. After two weeks of meaningful learning and reflection—led by our own James Bell and the inspiring Anthony Wilson—Glenelg is proud to help close out the round with the recognition and respect it truly deserves.

Adding extra heat to the contest, the day also marks South Adelaide’s 30th anniversary at their Noarlunga home. In a special gesture, Glenelg members will receive FREE entry to Saturday’s game — so there’s no excuse not to fill the stands in black and gold!

To top it all off, the Bays will celebrate a massive personal milestone: Alex Martini, two-time premiership hero, runs out for his 100th league game. Expect the boys to lift as they rally around a club favourite in a huge moment.

While the AFL’s mid-season draft saw the departures of Harrison Ramm and Oscar Adams, the Bays aren’t backing down. Young gun Cooper Beecken makes his return to the league side, while Luke Partington is back from injury and ready to make an impact.

With so much on the line and a festival atmosphere brewing, this is one weekend you don’t want to miss.
