Dual premiership player Sam Baulderstone will join the Glenelg coaching panel in 2022 as an assistant coach.
The recently retired ruckman bagged 136 games for Norwood over eight seasons and played an integral role in the Redlegs’ back-to-back premierships in 2013 and 2014.
Baulderstone is well-respected in the SANFL community and was named in the Advertiser Team of the Year in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019.
Senior coach Brett Hand is excited about the appointment and eager for Baulderstone to join the group in pre-season training.
“It will be great to add local experience and a quality SANFL ruckman to our coaching panel. We have a young midfield who will thrive on the chance to learn from him,” Hand said.
“Sam is enthusiastic and keen to make an impact on our young playing group. I’m looking forward to working with him, our mids and our other coaches to provide our squad with some great development opportunities going forward.”
