SANFL U17 Futures give a glimpse on Grand Final day

SANFL’s AFL Draft class of 2024 will have an opportunity to shine in the U17 Futures match to be played at Adelaide Oval on Hostplus SANFL League Grand Final day.

Starting at 9am, the traditional clash between the Yellow and Blue team will be the curtain-raiser for the SANFL Reserves game starting at 11am.

Familiar father-son surnames will be a feature with Lucas and Ben Camporeale (Scott Camporeale), Tom Tasker (Sean Tasker), Ned Atkinson (Brodie Atkinson) and Tom Cochrane (Stuart Cochrane) all having an opportunity to perform on the big stage.

South Adelaide pair Sid Draper and Phoenix Hargrave, who played key roles in the Panthers’ Torrens University SANFL U18 Grand Final win last Sunday, will be rested.

Final line-ups for the Yellow and Blue teams are below with the Yellow team to be coached by former Norwood wingman Gavin Hughes while the Blue side will be guided by Ben Nelson.
