After a huge pre-season, our GFCW league and reserves sides are more than ready to take the field this Sunday.

Our clash against Centrals, to kick off the season, will see five League debutants and three Club debutants don the black and gold for the very first time.

Lucy Weatherald (Glenunga) and Mackenzie O’Dea (Port Noarlunga) are two tenacious, hard working midfield defenders who have had strong pre-season participation. Jayde Hickey (Modbury/Norwood), is a talented sports person returning back to SANFLW after playing Premier League Netball in 2024, she will pull on the gold sash this weekend alongside another sports-all-rounder Elizabeth Johnson (Happy Valley). Johnson’s talent is a credit to her dedication to manage cricket and football commitments, she holds a great work ethic and will be invaluable to our midfield and forward-line.  Tessa Davis (Brighton/Glenelg Juniors), is our first Glenelg Junior to step into our senior squad this year, with a wealth of talent beyond her just 17-years.

Glenelg will take on Central Districts this Sunday at X-Convenience Oval. Don’t miss the action, from 10am.
