SANFLW Round 3 Team Selections 2024

Round 3 teams are here, with a confirmed Debutant for Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash with Central District.

After a challenging game last Saturday in the hot conditions, our GFC Women are looking to solidify their status against Centrals on the weekend. With the League team heading into the game with the confidence of the last two wins, it is sure to be a challenging game with the Bulldogs coming off the same winning streak.

The Reserves are roaring to go after missing the opportunity to play last week due to the heat. They carried out their own training session the same morning to ensure they still reap the benefits of a game day, so are keen to put that to practice and translate that extra training time and knowledge onto the footy field.

Melanie Hinge will make her SANFLW debut against the Bulldogs, lining up in the League team for the first time at 23 years old. Hinge will be an asset across the wing, assisting the team with her versatility.

Lakeisha Sheffield will also play her first Senior game of football, listed in the Reserves squad after being named in the 2023 u16 Girl’s State Academy.
