Six Tigers Selected in Initial 2021 Torrens University SA U17 Squad

The Glenelg Football Club is pleased to announce that six players have been selected in the initial 2021 Torrens University SA U17 Squad set to play in the AFL U17 National Championships later this year.

Glenelg’s line-up includes U16s Grand Finalists Ashton Moir and Captain Ben Ridgway, who are joined by currently undefeated U18s players Archie Lovelock, Hayden Brokensha, Jakob Ryan and Lachlan Scannell.

Training will commence on June 1, after which the squad will be reduced to 30 players following an internal trial match at Thebarton Oval on Friday June 11.

South Australia’s campaign kicks off on Sunday June 20 with a game against Western Australia at Hisense Stadium. The team will then travel to Queensland to take on Victoria Metro on Tuesday July 6 and Victoria Country on Friday July 9.
