VALE BRIAN MOONEY

Glenelg Football Club is saddened by the recent passing of life member Brian Mooney.

Brian ‘Moons’ Mooney gave a quarter-of-a-century of service to Glenelg Football Club as a hard-working and popular volunteer with a keen sense of humour. He was senior sprigger from 1989-1996 and property steward from 1996-2014.

Brian won the prestigious AJ Wadham Club Person of the Year award in 2000 and gained life membership in 2007.

The Club extends its deepest condolences to Brian’s family and friends.
