VALE GREG CROSER
Glenelg Football Club is saddened by the passing of former Tigers league player Greg Croser, on 22 December 2023. He was 72.
Greg, Glenelg’s player No. 578, played 68 games for the Tigers between 1971 and 1979, remembered mostly as a reliable, dependable full back. Recruited from Maitland, he made his debut against North Adelaide in Round 7, 1971 at Adelaide Oval.
He was at his best in 1974 and ’75 when he played in 42 successive games and lined up in the first two grand finals at Football Park, unfortunately losses, against Sturt and Norwood.
He joined West Adelaide in 1979, playing nine league games in his one season with the Bloods before moving to Canberra and playing with Ainslie under coach Kevin ‘Cowboy’ Neale.
The Club extends its deepest condolences to Greg’s family and friends.
