Glenelg signs Matt Merrett

The Glenelg Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of defender Matt Merrett for season 2020.

Matt played at the Bay in 2016 before playing country footy. He then joined Adelaide Football Club as a top up player where he has played for the past two seasons.

Matt was the winner of the Dean Bailey medal in 2019 which recognises the AFC development player who displays great commitment and dedication.

Matt is a reliable defender who reads the game well. He is a strong addition to our backline.

We welcome Matt and his partner Abbey back to Glenelg.
